On February 12, 1948, a certain Domenico Agusta in Verghera in the province of Varese, in Lombardy, Italy started out what today is the most sophisticated name in motorcycle manufacturers, the MV AGUSTA and still now the companys headquarter is located in Varese. This year, the Italain icon will celebrate its 61st birthday. Shortly, this blog will feature a history on the brand, from 1948 to 1977 when it shut shop and again its revival in 1992 by the Castiglioni brothers and the merging with Caviga and finally now with Harley Davidson.
