Zero Motorcycle present the limited edition electric motorcycle

Powered by ZF9 Zero power pack with 9.0 kWh battery capacity. For a single battery charge, can be used up to 63 mile or 101 miles, for a distance out of town. Can be used up to 114 mile or 183km, for travel within the city.

16th edition of the Bike Check Up brings together more than 1 500 bikers

This week, José Eduardo Goncalves, Executive Director of ABRACICLO, that is the Association that gathers the manufacturers of motorcycles in Brazil, presented the outcome of the 16th edition of the Bike Check-Up, the evaluation programme of motorcycles and motorcycle awareness, conducted with the intention of increasing traffic safety. 1,521 bikers showed up with their bikes in the three-day event that was held in Brasilia between 19 and 21 September.


The program is to do a free check-up on motorcycles and raise the awareness of participants of the importance of vehicle maintenance and attention in piloting.  While the bikes get mechanical care, the bikers get directions in clinics of riding Tips and coexistence and respect in traffic.


The entity takes advantage of the event to make the survey behavior and vehicle wear and tear.  The data collected will be used for the implementation of new rules on obtaining the habilitation.

Despite the growing contingent of female leading motorcycles, 96% of participants were men and 63% used the vehicle for the job. Of the total, 77% had evaluated motorcycles motor up to 150 cm3.


During the Bike Check-up is not done no marketing or commercial action on the part of its members.


The 16th edition of the Check-Up had the support of the Federal Government, the Ministry of cities, Denatran (transit National Department), Ministry of health, the Federal District Government (GDF) and Sindmoto-DF; corporate sponsorship and Pirelli, Taurus, Levorin, Alba, ASW, Daido, Motorcycling Magazine, NGK and Porto Seguro. Over the next 16 edits, about 30 thousand motorcyclists have already participated in the action.
